Join us on a hike to explore southeast Michigan’s surprisingly diverse butterflies. With over fifty separate species there are enough to keep you thoroughly engaged and amazed as the search continues for Lepidopterans of the forest, field, and wetlands. This class will surely run into and appreciate many classic butterflies for the novice and be sure to stop at interesting and uncommon bugs for the advanced enthusiast. Bring close focusing binoculars if you have them and dress for hiking off trail. Instructor: Silas Bialecki
