Do you remember the satisfaction and (maybe) relief you felt when you finally mastered tying your shoes? You were young! People were watching and expecting that you do it! Knots are hard and with this one exception (tying your shoes), we often overlook their usefulness in our everyday lives. If you know the old adage: "if you can't tie a knot, tie a lot," you've learned to manage and cross your fingers that something will hold when you need it to; this works often enough. But if you'd like some self-assurance and to learn a couple back-pocket all-stars, join us in this hands-on, no pressure Intro to Knots class. Sarah, the instructor, comes from a long line of macrame afficianados and sailed professionally on tall ships for almost a decade. She's excited to find that youthful joy and satisfaction with you in exploring this age-old traditional skill.
